Race Results
Information for the AWTAR is organized by the year of the race (1947 through 1977). Some pages in this section have a drop-down box where you can select the race year you want to view. Other pages permit you to search by race year plus other criteria. For some years, such as 1948, the information is sparse, whereas other years, such as 1973, have lots of detail. Note that there was no race in 1974.
The Race Results section gives access to displays, search tools, and reports that show how each racer and team placed each year, and which teams won which awards. These pages include:

The online race results tool is interactive. You can sort the data by any column, search by text string, or click on highlighted buttons to drill down for more detail. Clicking on the "More" button in the upper right-hand corner of the page reveals a set of reports that you can view or download. This includes the race program from that year as well as the route map. A tutorial has tips and tricks on how to get the most out of the interactive tool.
